Hello, my name is Monte Foreman-Powell. The Owner and Founder of Bettering Me Counseling Services LLC (BMCS). I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Professional Counselor, and National Certified Counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I began my journey as a U.S. Army veteran, which shaped my passion for helping others build resilience and find healing. My approach is compassionate, trauma-focused, and tailored to meet each client where they are. I work with adults, couples, and families, with a special interest in supporting LGBTQ+ clients and veterans. Together, we will work toward meaningful growth, improved emotional regulation, and the confidence to move forward in life.
